Let me give you a list of just some of the things I must remember to be a good Dog.

1. I will not eat the cats' food before they eat it or after they throw it up.

2. I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc., just because I like the way they smell.

3. The Litter Box is not a cookie jar.

4. The sofa is not a 'face towel'.

5. The garbage collector is not stealing our stuff.

6. I will not play tug-of-war with Dad's underwear when he's on the toilet.

7. Sticking my nose into someone's crotch is an unacceptable way of saying 'hello'.

8. I don't need to suddenly stand straight up when I'm under the coffee table

9. I must shake the rainwater out of my fur before entering the house - not after.

10. I will not come in from outside and immediately drag my butt.

11. I will not sit in the middle of the living room and lick my crotch.

12. The cat is not a 'squeaky toy' so when I play with him and he makes that noise, it's usually not a good thing.

Momma and me started oor garden plants awhile ago. I helped by warming up the Jiffy Peat pots. We will be takin pichures as things grow and bloom. We planted Morning Glorys (i REALLY hope they don't make more Gloria Dumbdogs!!!)

Here is a pichure of the front of oor house. Momma's friends and fambly helped her to make the gardens, and to plant things cause hers has a bad back. She was very happy they helped her.

And Daddy got us a Humming berd feeder!! Momma had Tankie ootside on the frunt verandah, and he SAW THE HUMMIN BERD!!! He wus VERY excited about that!!

Oh and i want to give a shout-out to my favorite mancat in Calee forn ee ah, Skeezix!! He's been werkin really hard for the Spelling Bee!! Go see his blog about the Bee!!

Tank's trip Outside

I got to go Outside on my harness today!! The bugs were bad, and Momma got eeted alot. Thankfully there is alotta Momma to eet.

Momma sed i can't go outside without this STOOPID harness, so i just sucked it up, did a few crocodile deth rolls, and got on with it.

I was facinated by the leaves, and the blowing grass.

And some gooses flew RIGHT over oor house! That skeered me a bit.

I met a wormy, and he sed his name was Martin. I touched him, and he went all swirmy!! I didnt know what to think of it.

So i whapped it again!!

Then i eeted him before Momma could move him. I *AM* a ferocious ManTiger...

I'm sorry i eeted yoo, Marvin.

And that was my day outside!

Dis nest is under oor verandah. this ams the first clutch (dat meens a buncha eggs) this spring. Berdies come here every year and nest, and Momma has always taken pichurs. Berdies can't smell, so they cant smell Momma has been neer the eggbabies. She is very careful that she dusnt make the Momma and Daddy berdies mad at her. Over the next few days, she will post sum moor pichures of dees eggs. I cant wait to see the babies!!

Dad bought us an automatic litterbox! We like it alot. Momm thought it might take us awhile to get used to it, but it didnt take anytime at all, and we all use it.

Its a Smart Scoop brand, and we got it at Zellers for around $90 Canadian. We are going to get 2 more.

Here's a video of it working. Do not worry, that was just water Momma poured in to show yoo all how it rakes up hahaha

Sore Eyed Sophie

This is Tankie Badboy's Mommy Sophie. When me and her wuz chillin on the dryer yesterday, Momma noticed Sophie's eye was swollen and tearing..

Momma maked sure there was nuthin in her eye, and then called the V E T. They were grate and said to bring Soph riiiight in. So Momma threw her (actually had tried 3x to git her in da crate, then ended up standing the crate on it's backside, and sliding her in feet first hahaha)

he V E T was not oor usual VET lady, but instead was a very nice ManDoctor called Dr. Ogillvey. He was grate with Sophie, adn she was standin up on her tippytoes and giving hims headbonks and purrin at hims. She was glad he was so nice, and was showing him she trusted him.

They stained her eye with some florescent green drops to look for scratches, then he looked in her eye. The grate news is that there was nuthin wrong with her eye, and we figure Sadie popped Sophie inna eye like she usually does.

So now she hasta gets eyegoop in 2x a day. Luckily for Momma she can do almost ANYTHING to Sophie wifout gettin Soph all mad and Bitey. She's lookin outside chirrupin at some birdies as we type.

Yesterday was a sad day here in our city. We live at the airbase where our fallen troops are brought back home for repatriation. This post is NOT a political one... but something we wanted to share with you.

These are the latest four young men who have been killed during the war, and this Repatriation is our community's way of saying "Stand down Soldier,

From left to right, Master Corp. Scott Vernelli, Cpl. Tyler Crooks, Trooper Jack Bouthillier and Trooper Corey Hayse

When our soldier's bodies are sent back home, pretty well everyone in the city who isnt working comes and stands along a part of the fence right infront of the airbase where the plane lands. This is nicknamed "Repatriation Row"

The plane lands, and the hearses are waiting, as well as the families, and usually our Governer General and other dignitaries. The bodies are carried off of the plane with the greatest respect and dignity.

We wait quietly along the fence, most with flags and messages for the families. Those who can, wear red. It is a very solumn event.

The hearses, then the limosines with the Fallen's families drive past us as we salute, or hold our hands to our hearts in respect. We even have the route renamed in Their honour, it is called the Highway of Heroes.

People line the bridges all along the highway from Trenton to Toronto, they stand with flags and salute as the hearses go by.

It's not much, but it does let the families of the soldiers know that we thank them, and share the grief they feel.

ME and Tankie decided to make our friend Daisy a Super Hero Cape after her blog entry here: We saved oor 'lowance and bought some very pretty Disney Princess fabric, and 2 daisy embroidered appliques. We worked on this together pretty well, but Tank couldn't help dragging away the measuring tape. Several times.

Hi!!!!!!!!! Today i am gonna show you my friend Henry!!!!

He is a very handsome Golden Retriever!!! He's very excited to be here today!!! Henry is a VERY handsome young man, he's my age! We were both born in November.

We went for a hike with Momma and Henry's Dad Doug! Here he is with Henry.

Here we are running RIGHT at Momma and Doug!! I slammed into Doug 2x during the hike! Im not very good at putting on the breaks! I use lotsa !!! 's cause i am a very excited dog!!

Now Momma is singin that song from Seseme Street.. She can even hear Bob singing it!!

ANYWAYS, we live a bit away from a faktory. At the Faktry, there's a cat!! She lives inside. THey make cabinets, and she is the Offical Mouser.

We call her "Faktry Cat. She seems to be a Maine Coon, she is a very sweet Girl. Here real name is "Freddie Freeloader." We like Faktry Cat better tho. Here she is bonkin Momma on the leg, giving ear rubs.

Momma and 2 of the human kittens went to see if she was outside, and she was! Momma stops once in awhile to give hers some pets. She was very saddened to see what shape FC was in.. she was all matted.. the mats were so bad she seemed to have problems walkin. But she came over to Momma and the boys, and got LOTS of skritches and pats.

She was so matted, she has really dirty pooper-area issues with all that long hair. It maked Momma sad, and she's still thinking about goin back tomorrow and offering to get FC groomed.

Momma and Walter met in *gasp* 1977!! Walter lived across the road from her, and that's where she got her love for animals. They adopted 2 littermates, Tigger and Menew. Walter had Tigger, and Momma got Menew. This is a picture of Menew, we couldn't find on of Tigger ::

Me: Hi Walter and Jake! Can yoo please tell my readers about how yooo and Jake came to be together?

W&J: I got Jake many many many years ago. It would be about 11 or 12 years ago ...possibly 13 years. At the time I was living on Hamilton Rd with mom. We still had Garfield at the time(the oddball Siamese with the white tipped tail) , and Tramp, the white haired cat we found near the railroad tracks. Somehow we were delivered these 2 new cats from the Humane Society (thanks Leslie)....Baby cat, an extra-toed odd kitten who was really cool, and Jake, a full grown tabby who had been abandoned by some base people who had moved. Jake immediately 'chose' me.. she hopped up on my lap and just wanted 'security'... and has been mine ever since (or rather, I've been hers ever since).

MTW: Does she lets other cats in the hoose now?

W&J: *Jake hisses*

W&J: She's always been quite territorial of me. She sleeps with me at nite... wanting me to lay on my left side so she can get pets and cuddles, but knows that when i roll to my right side, its time to sleep...at that point, she mostly curls up in the area between my arm and chest.

MTW: What do you fink she does when yoo are gone to work?

W&J: I've attached a pic.... I assume that while I'm gone to work, she's running around in the Jaketrix :P

I was SUPPOSED to go play outside on the deck in Tank's harness today, but it was FREEZING RAIN. If yoo don't know what freezing rains are, its when its rainin, and as soon as it hits sumfink, it FREEZES. It is very dangerous to drive, or walk on our wooden decks. Yoo almost always land on yoor butt.

So instead of playing outside, we had to help Momma CLEAN the HOOSE. Cause we have 6 kittehs and 2 dumbdogs and a load of boys living here, we gots LOADS of hairballs allll over the floors. Momma always sez she's gonna knit a hampster outta all that hair. She never does tho.

Everyfink went up on the tables while she swept and scrubbed the floor, and i decided to help by laying on the shoo mat.

Tankie helped by redepositing all the hairs and dirts back to where they were. Tankie is very good at this. He usually gets "Tank Wrangled" by one of the human kittens, but he 'scaped from them.

So that was my sucky day.

I made a Tote Bag!!

Today my Momma and I decided to try our hands at making a purse. But since we are both beginner sewing learners, we chose a very simple yet elegant tote that feechures the Breast Cancer motive.

Here i am with the fabric all spread out. It is very important to lay everything out, and read the DIRECTIONS. We got all our notions together. (thats a fancy word for the threads and bias tape and such)

If you look close, you can see the directions said that we would be working with a heavy cotton duck. We don't have any heavy ducks, but we gots a ceramic chicken "Bob", so he offered to help us.

Then we got everything cut out. Momma did the cutting cause i don't have thumbs. She was very careful not to cut herself, or me.

She ironed the fabric, while I stayed away. That iron was HOT, and it SPITTED AND HISSED at me!! It was very RUDE. I hissed right back at it!

Here I am curled up inside our new tote bag!

There was enough fabric left over to make a tiny cat sized bag for me! We are very pleased with our tote bags, and now we will make a real PURSE next time!!

Here i am modelling my new totebag. I hope i did ok, i am not a famous model like my pretty friend Daisy, or Skeezix.

Hi there. This post is going to make Momma's eyes leak.

To start things off, I will introduce yoo to Tandee Pitbull. This is her Dogster page: http://www.dogster.com/dogs/404922

This is a rather long entry, but please bear with us on it. Tandee was my bestest buddy in the world, even though she was a DOG. We would cuddle together alla times... Here is a picture of me in Daddy's pants (don't ask) and Tandee lying beside me:

Tandee Wigglebum was the sweetest, gentlest, most loving dog we have ever had the honour to meet. Daddy got Tandee when she was a puppy. She had a rough go at life, through no fault of her own. She was swarmed with bees and almost died. She was maked unconsious when our house burned down, as we were all in it at the time. She had a condition called "Happy Tail" and had to get most of her tail amputated. And she died far too young, at the age of 6. She developed a condition called " Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia (IMT)" She had to be euthanised 2 days after we had a diagnosis.

Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia is when platelets are destroyed by the body's own immune system, at a rate faster than they are produced in the bone marrow. About half of dogs with IMT experience only one episode of thrombocytopenia, and respond well to treatment within a few days. Some dogs will have occasional relapses, which may be associated with stressors such as another illness, or travel. Unfortunately some dogs with this disorder die acutely because of severe internal bleeding. Sadly Our Tandee was one of the unlucky ones.

Tandee loved to kill soccer balls, and she was a very fast runner.

EVERYTIME we had a kitten in the house, it would end up cuddled with Tandee. She was a wonderful foster Momma. Tank, his siblings, and Tibby too would find a safe haven

Its been one year since she went to the Bridge, and her collar hangs on Momma's bedpost. We still miss her everyday.

We lost our home to a fire a few years back, and while our new house was being built, we had to all cram in a singlewide trailer. 4 cats at the time, 3 dogs, 4 human boys, and Momma and Dad.
Suffice to say there was NO privacy at all. I was sitting on the potty one day, and Momma throws the light on, sees me sitting on it, says "Oh sorry Tigs!" and turns and shuts the door!!

I couldnt believe it!!! She didn't even CHANGE THE TOILET PAPER ROLL!!!

Lets meet Tankie Badboy, and his Mom Sophia Ballerina!

This here is Tank, and his tiny little momma Sophie. We calls her Sophia Ballerina 'cause when you scritch her back, she stands right up on her tippytoes!! i must say its very cute.

ok, its VERY hard to see Tank in this first picture, because he is under Sophie's tail!! You can see an ear if you look close though.

Sophie was a rescue from Fixed Fur Life http://www.fixedfurlife.com/ and we got her when the babies were juuuust opening their little blue eyes. She had 4 kittens. Twin tabbys, Bob and Lilly, a tiny black baby we called Lola, and Tanklin Himselfs. Daddy fell in love with Tankie when Tank started to groom Dad's goat tea. That did it, Tankie was never leaving. Course Dad didn't want to separate Tank from his mommcat, so Sophie never left either. The other 3 kittens all found wonderful homes. In fact, Bob lives with 2 ferrets!!!

Tank is a big boy, very "Tom" except he never got his ManCheeks. He DOES have huge Manpaws though. Sometimes Sophie has to slap him around abit, cause he gets doin "NO GOOD", at least that's what Momma tells me. She's a lot smaller than him, but she gets her point across.

Sophie is a very sweetheart of a girl, in fact i even let her sleep beside me on the dryer! I don't usually let anyone else up there, and the odd time Tankie climbs up and cuddles with us too.

This picture is going to get my butt kicked... *snikkers* Its worth it though. Big TOUGH MANCAT Tank has a stuffie!!! His name is Norbert. Norbert is missing his NOSE cause Sadie EETED it!!! Anyways, here is my blackmail picture of Tank and Norbert hahahahahaha

HAHAHAHAAHAHAAAAA!!!! Tankie sleeps with a baaaaaabyyyyyyy!!!! Gotta run!!

ok, this is our dumbdog Sadie Mae. She is German Shorthair Pointer crossed with greyhound. She runs like lightening.
She is a rescue animal too. She is a huge challenge, and she is on Clomacalm due to severe seperation anxiety.

Momma gotcha'd her when she was 6 months old. She is just over a year now. She destroys things if Momma leaves her to go to the bathroom. If she is crated, she "hops" the crate across the room, and eats whetever the crate hits. We even put her in an airliner crate once... I'll post a pic of that tomorrow lol Lets just say those crates arn't as strong as people think.

Anyways, Sadie is a notorious Coller Taker-Offer and Eaterer. I have purrsonally gone through 5 collars since she came here. She also took off tibby, (2x) and Tankie's (2x).

Meet our big Dumbdog, Gloria!

This is Gloria. Her nickname is "mouse" She's like a gazillion pound mouse, with verrrry big teeth!! She is going to be 5 years old on May 3. She protects Momma and the human kittens. Her mother was a purebred Rottweiler, and her father a Sneaky Other Dog. We think German Sheppard.

She was fostered at 3 weeks by Momma and Dad, and they adopted her as soon as she was old enough. This is a puppy picture of her, and she was very ill. 4 of her litter died while in the Humane Society, Momma was going to foster and hand-raise all of the females, but sadly they all died but Our Glory. She was very very sick and full of worms when this picture was taken, and her mother had pushed her away from the other remaining puppies. It was very sad.

Yoo ever have a day when you are bored? I went to see if there was anything good on Animal Planet...

but there wasnt.

Then Tank and me figured we would see what was in the dog's toybox...

That wasn't such a great idea, cause Sadie came galloping over to us to protect her stuffed Goose! Plus, Gloria Dumbdog is not one yoo want to anger when it comes to her toys!! Tankie figures the bones here are from somecat whoo tried to take stuff outta her toybox before!!

I even tried to get un-boreded by sitting in my favorite box.. that didnt work either.

So imma follow my big sister Bailey's lead, and just have a snooze.

I might as well get started on the intros, i have a BIIIIG fambly.

First off is my actual litter mate Zelda. Zelda was named after our human boy's favorite video game "The Legend of Zelda". She is a very silly girl with ridiculously soft furs. She has a very small meow.

Next is Momma's oldest cat Bailey. Bailey was borned under Momma's sister's front steps. She was found when she was just 2 days old! Bailey, her sister and her Mom were caught, and Momma fostered them till the kittens were about 8 weeks old, then had the Mom cat spayed, and found a great home for her and the other kitten. Bailey has lived with Momma for about 12 years now. She's a very shy cat, and hides whenever anyone comes to the house, but she does come out and night, and sleeps on Momma's pillow. She HATES Sadie Dumbdog.

And the last one for now will be a picture of our newest kitty, her name is Tibby aka Velocotibby. tibby was thrown out of a vehicle when she was only a few weeks old, it seems people around here know Momma fosters cats, so it was a safe bet she was gonna take in this tiny fluff ball. Tibbs' lower jaw was all "road rashed" from her rather eventful entry into our household. She has the tiniest mew you would ever hear. She is noted for gobbling food off of the humans plates at astonishing speeds, hence "Velocotibby. She is over a year old now, very healthy and happy. I don't 'sociate too much with Tibbs, cause she tends to stay in the lower half of the house. I'm an upstairs kinda girl.

This is a kitten pichur of me and my real sister Zelda. Zelda has furs that are sooo soft, it's almost silly. In our litter, there were six kittens, 2 tabbys, 2 black and 2 like Zelda! Our mommy was a tiny little black kitty, with a tail like a squirrel.

Zelda and i used to have an odd habit of sucking each other's armpits. We would curl up like a Yin/Yan symbol, and kneed each other's belly. We only do this the odd time now, cause the other cats laff at us.

I am going to put up a very silly pichure of me and Zeldy tomorrow. It will be worth coming back to see it.

After heerin me yells and hollers, Momma sed she's gonna startwritin in my blog again! She's been so bizzy reedin Skeezix, Daisy and Jeter Harris' blogs lately, that she's been inspired to start writin on mine again.
